We have some big news.
We have decided to sell our company, the Bill Marsh Auto Group, to the Serra Automotive Group, with an anticipated transition in early May 2024.
To say this is big news is an understatement.
We’ve been blessed to sell and service vehicles in this community for over 40 years. And we’re so thankful for your confidence and trust in us.
We chose the Serra Automotive Group because they too believe in the same philosophy that has guided us for decades:
“We’re not in the car business. We’re in the people business.”
It’s the values of their ownership and their company that made this challenging decision just a little easier.
Serra’s commitment to people pertains to customers, and staff as well. In this transition, Serra is retaining all of our employees. They understand that it is our people who have made this company great and will carry the legacy forward.
So, while the name on our sign will change, the same people you’ve trusted to sell and service your vehicle will still be here, ready to help when you need it.
And we’ll still be here, too—supporting our wonderful community, enjoying our grandchildren and families, and embracing our next chapters.
Our heartfelt thanks for your support—during the last 40+ years and on the road ahead.

Enjoy your next “Adventures”
A great family-owned and operated business. You guys and all of your staff treat the customer right and take good care of all of the vehicles you sell.
Will you continue with sales and services for Hyundai?
Absolutely, Marie. Nothing will change with our franchises.
Bill
YOU Will be missed! Your company is know for its customer service!

Thanks Ron. You can rest assured the same people you’ve dealt with for years will continue to serve you.

I’m a retired Chrysler Design Director…for 23 years and have always talked up your dealership as the best (service and people) of any I’ve dealt with.
I’ve bought some vehicles outright and used the company lease car program over the years and now hear that you will no longer be honoring that program.
True? And if so will you still service those vehicles under the program if I have to travel downstate for delivery?
Ernie,
Due to significant changes to the program, numerous dealerships have opted out of accepting deliveries under the Retiree program. (I do know that Chrysler dealership in Cadillac is still participating). We will, however, continue to service and maintain all eligible vehicles.
Bill
Congrats guys! Our family has bought so many vehicles from you over the decades. Now you need to get back into boat racing and bring back a race to Traverse City:) “TC Express” Wish you all the best!

When it comes to “great service,” Bill Marsh Jr. has been an active supporter of NMC’s International Affairs Forum (tciaf.com), among many other community organizations. We greatly appreciate his advocacy over the years. Jack Segal, former co-chair
